1.2 Device Permissions and Access
We request the following permissions from your device to enable the App’s features:

Data Storage Note: Any images or media collected through these permissions are uploaded to our Supabase server to be stored and displayed as part of your gift wish lists. We do not access your camera or storage without your explicit action within the App.

we only collect minimal internal usage data:
- Usage Data: Information about how you use the App (e.g., features utilized, crashes).
- Device Information: Technical information about the device you use to access the App, such as the device type and operating system version.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the functionality of the App (e.g., displaying your wish lists and uploaded images).
- To manage your account and provide you with App-related services.
- To analyze and improve the App’s performance and features.
- To communicate with you regarding updates or customer support in response to your inquiries.

3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Service Providers: We use third-party companies, including Supabase (our cloud database and storage provider), to help us operate and maintain the App. These providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf (e.g., storing your images and account data) and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- For Legal Reasons: If required by law, subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and legal processes.
- In case of Transfer: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect the information provided via the App from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure. We encourage users to use strong passwords and keep their account credentials secure.
5. Children’s Privacy (For Users under 13)
The App is designed for a target audience of users 12 years of age and older, which means it may appeal to children under 13.
We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable global laws regarding children’s data.
- If you are under 13, we do not knowingly collect Personal Information (as defined by COPPA) from you unless we first obtain verifiable parental consent.
- If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us immediately at service@giftwishit.com so we can delete that information.
